Brother's Keeper
Brother's Keeper was a band from Erie, Pennsylvania.
Formed in 1994 by members of a number of other local bands, they became the backbone of the Erie hardcore punk and metalcore scene. Alongside bands like xDisciplex A.D., Digression and Neverfall, they created a local community of youth bonded by a common musical interest. Brother's Keeper's sound stood out due to the unique vocal style of Mike Ski.
The band released 5 CDs as well as a number of 7" records. From 1996 through their breakup in 2003, they were signed to Trustkill Records.

Negative FX
Along with members of the bands DYS and SS Decontrol (SSD), Negative FX was part of the Boston Crew: a group of social friends who traveled around the country with SSD and other Boston hardcore bands.
Negative FX played an incredibly fast and largely unmelodic form of hardcore punk (their music could be considered proto-power violence), that featured frequent gang vocals shouted along with the chorus. The band members consisted of Patrick Raftery on guitar, Rich Collins on Bass, Dave (Bass) Brown on drums, and their high profile vocalist Jack Kelly, who frequently went by the name of Choke. Choke went on to later form the band Last Rights, then Slapshot.
Negative FX has released only one self-titled album, which was recorded in April and November 1982 at Radiobeat studios in Kenmore Square but wasn't released until 1984 on Taang! Records. It was re-released on blue, red, clear & amber vinyl (all limited to aprox. 500) by Taang! in 1989 and more recently on the Belgian label Reflex Records in 2002 on black vinyl limited to 800, pink vinyl limited to 100 and yellow vinyl limited to 100. Successful punk rock band NOFX also is throwback to this band. Eric Melvin had listened to their one studio album, and when trying to come up with a name for his new band with Fat Mike he suggested the name No FX. Fat Mike agreed on the name because, “it was the best one so far.”

Jerry's Kids
Jerry's Kids was one of the earliest Boston hardcore bands, from Braintree.
Their first recorded output was on the Modern Method record label's This Is Boston, Not L.A. compilation LP in 1982. They contributed six tracks. rising out of a local scene that included such bands as SS Decontrol, the F.U.'s, Freeze, Negative FX, and Gang Green, Jerry's Kids caught their first break in 1982, when they were featured on a compilation of local talent (This Is Boston, Not L.A.), which created a buzz for the band beyond just Boston. 1983 saw the release of their debut album for X-Claim Records, Is This My World. The group spilt from the label shortly thereafter, leading to the album being shortly out of print, before the Taang! label reissued it. 1989 saw the release of their second and final release, Kill Kill Kill, before splitting up.

Madness are a British pop/ska band from Camden Town, London, that formed in 1976.
In 2009, the band have continued to perform with their most recognised lineup of seven members, although their lineup has varied slightly over the years. They were one of the most prominent bands of the late-1970s 2 Tone ska revival.Madness achieved most of their success in the early to mid 1980s. Turning Point
Turning Point was a straight edge hardcore band from New Jersey that existed from 1988 to 1991
Their early releases had the sound of straight edge hardcore of the time, with lyrics relating to social issues or being straight edge. The later material was a lot more emo influenced, integrating more emotional lyrics, softer vocal delivery and octave chords.
This eventually led the way for other straight edge/hardcore bands to do so, such as Split Lip, Falling Forward, etc.
Lead singer Skip Candelori
and guitarist Jay Laughlin previously formed Moorestown, New Jersey-based Pointless. Ken Flavell, drums, originally played drums with brother Chris Flavell in the early southern New Jersey hardcore band, Failsafe. Nick Greif, bass, previously played bass in the late 80's straight-edge hardcore band, Awareness. Matthew Kerfoot, guitarist in Awareness, was Greif's original choice to play drums in Turning Point. Kerfoot declined, opting to leave for college.
Candelori died in 2002 of an accidental drug overdose

Down to Nothing (or DTN) is a straight edge hardcore punk band based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Since their inception in 2000, DTN have toured all over the United States, Europe, and Australia. Their most recent studio recording is a CD/vinyl release titled "The Most" on Revelation Records which was released on July 15, 2007. DTN's first two albums, "Save It for the Birds" and "Splitting Headache" are currently out of print, but were re-released in February 2008 on one CD/LP, titled "Unbreakable."
DTN offers an energetic, fast-paced, hardcore sound that will appeal to fans of TIME FLIES, COUNT ME OUT, CARRY ON, CHAMPION, and IN MY EYES.

Morning Again was a hardcore band from Florida. They were known for their extreme metallic hardcore sound as well as for their straight edge, vegan and anti-government ideas. The band was a "sister band" to Culture, often switching members after one had left the other. Several members went on to play in other bands such as As Friends Rust and Dead Blue Sky. The band was originally from Cooper City, Florida, but moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1998.
John Wylie who had left Culture earlier that year wanted a band with more intense and personal views. In December 1995, Morning Again was formed with Damien Moyal and Louie Long who had both been in Culture in the two prior years, on vocals and drums. Mike Wahls came in on second guitar, and Eric Ervin on bass. The band recorded an EP's worth of material which was sent to Conquer the World Records as it had released Born of You and the members were familiar with it. The label agreed to put it out, and the band made some promo tapes to help promote the upcoming release. Soon after the mini-album came out, Intention Records, who had also worked with Culture on their split with Roosevelt, asked John to release a 7" of new material. After landing a deal with the then-new label Good Life Recordings (as the first American band on the label) in Belgium (H8000 area), a compilation of all the released material was compiled for the European market.
They released their final record for Good Life, a split with 25 Ta Life, and went back to Europe to tour. Their final release was To Die a Bitter Death on Immigrant Sun. The band quickly fell apart but a last line-up was found resulting in Byers and Thomas still on on vocals and drums respectively, while Aaron Hiser and Chris Commons moved from Ohio to join on guitars, and Floyd Beckham came in on bass. They wrote a single last song, "Innocence Forever Lost" and made shirts concerning it for their final tour. In 2000, Wylie's own label released a compilation of both Immigrant Sun Records 7"s as The Fallen... The Few That Remain.
The band has since done two reunion shows. The first was in 2000, where they played under the name "The Cleanest War", which featured Damien Moyal back on vocals as well as the original line-up. The second was under the name "Hand of Hope" in 2002, where they had merch made specially for the show in Orlando, Florida. First a compilation of Hand of Hope and Martyr, Hand of the Martyr and an appropriate shirt. The line up for that show was Moyal on vocals, Wylie on guitar, Ervin on bass and Wes Keely on drums.
